Good Dentist in the Gilbert and Baseline Area

Please help - I am in the need of a new dentist. I live near Gilbert Rd and Baseline but I will travel for the right dentist. The last dentist I went to tried to do procedures like new fillings that were not necessary and when they were used a more expensive type filling that my insurance did not fully cover because it looked better, but the filling was on one of my very back teeth, who would see it. If given the choice I would have chosen what my insurance covered. By the time, I found this out it was already in my mouth. Any way if any one knows of a great dentist in the area I would really appreciate their name.

We LOVE our dentist...Dr. Michael Mezrahi - he's at Cooper and Elliot. He lets us know exactly what our options are and how much things will cost after insurance has paid there part. I've referred friends and they love him, too!

Hi Lauri,

I too live near Baseline & Gilbert Rd. My family goes to Jacob Zuniga. He is located at Lindsay and Elliot and it takes me less then 10 minutes to get there. The practice is called Dentally Yours and it's at 33 N Lindsay Road, #101, Gilbert, AZ and the phone is ###-###-####. Everyone there is super nice. He has at least one other dentist in the practice who I really like too, but can't think of his name offhand. We have been going there for years and have never felt any of that pressure for unnecessary procedures. I would definitely recommend them. Good luck.

Lauri,

I think your dentist should have told you the reason he did the porcelain fillings before he did them. Though, I think most dentists would put porcelain in your mouth because they just don't stock amalgam. I talked with my dentist about the porcelain filling you are talking about. When he put them in my mouth he warned me before hand that they would cost more than amalgam fillings. I asked him if there were dentists that did amalgams anymore and he said there are very few. The health risks of amalgam is high. Unfortunately the insurance company still only covers the cost of amalgams.

If you are looking for a great dentist, I absolutely LOVE mine. It took me several years to find the right dentist for our family. We went to several pediatric dentist and general practice, but I just didn't feel like they were honest. I finally found a guy that is great with kids, is completely honest, and his staff is wonderful (which is a huge plus in this day and age). His name is Peter Ray and he is located at Alma School and Elliot. Not too far of a drive for you. http://www.rayfamilydentalcare.com/

I hope that helps answer some questions for you.

You should try Stoneridge Dental. Dr. Saydyk is super nice! He's got a very professional staff and is also kid friendly. He's a reputable member of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce. He's reasonable, and he'll explain EVERYTHING. Here's his website: http://www.dentist-gilbert.com/
