A great bakery in Concord Center is the Sally Ann Bake Shop. It has been around for many, many years.
any recommendations for a bakery for birthday cakes in the lexington/bedford/concord area?

Hi,
I live in Brookline, but I just wanted to tell you that your little one will not care if the cake comes from Stop and Shop or Betty Crocker mix!
If, however, you want a really nice cake, Party Favors in Brookline makes lovely ones.
Just a thought from another mom. I have two children, for the first, I spent 60 $ on the cake and she did not want any of it. For my second, I baked up a mix and made a special little one for him. Everyone was pleased, and my son got his own cake to put his hands in.
Good Luck,

Rosie's in Lexington, right near Vinny T's in the center. It is SO good!! The prices are a little high, but not insanely high. It is worth it, though! I think it's on Waltham St., but I'm not totally sure, though it's in the center nonetheless. Good luck!
Concord Teacakes in west Concord is EXCELLENT! We gave them a napkin from the design scheme for the party and they copied it exactly, and the cake was delicious!
Hi A.,
We get all our birthday cakes at Concord Teacakes on Commonwealth Ave in Concord. They're a little pricy but the cakes are beautiful, delicious, and they can do practically anything you want!

I live in Wilmington - and believe it or not - the market basket in Wilmington does PHENOMENAL birthday cakes. Absolutely beautiful. My daughter had a tinkerbell cake this year - and the whole cake was a hand drawn Tinkerbell. Gorgeous. I didn't even want to cut it! hahaha.
Not sure if that's too far for you, but truly - they do my cakes every year for my son and my daughter and I have yet to be disappointed. I can send you a pic of the Tinkerbell cake if you'd like! :)
There is a great bakery in West Concord called Concord Teacakes. The make specialty cakes and just regular cakes as well. Ask to see at their sample book and you can get some ideas. All of their food is excellent.
Enjoy.
I like Quebrada on Mass Ave in Arlington and Nashoba (?) in West Concord, near the Chevy dealership.
I live in Framingham. BJ's has great cakes!!! Cheap too!!

Concord Teacakes in W. Concord - pricey but DELICIOUS. The yellow cake with raspberry filling is divine - had it at my baby shower - it was a huge hit.
