1 month at most. I had one miscarriage but do not believe it to be related to that in any way. Then a few months later again, no complications.
Hi moms,
I've been having the Mirena for 2 years now. My husband and I are thinking of conceiving another baby.
I would like to know form actual experience how long did it take you to get pregnant after removing the Mirena? Any problems?
Thank you in advance

I had my Mirena taken out at the end of January last year. It took until May to get pregnant and I am expecting my third girl in 5 weeks. good luck!
Thought the following website would answer questions some may have regarding what a "MIRENA" is:

my husband jokes i came home pregnant, i had it out in beginning of may and was pregnant by mid month, baby born in Feb
good luck
After my first removal, I got pregnant on my first full cycle (so, about 1.5 months). After the second removal, it took 7 months. It then only took 2.5 months after the 3rd removal.
OOOH wow. Haha. I was on it the same amount of time (2 years) So i got it removed literally the day after my period ended.. we were trying for a baby as well.. I got it removed and I got pregnant 3 days later. Literally. I kept telling my husband "I'm pregnant" I was only like 5 days at the time and he kept telling me I was full of sh*t.. I actually tested positive on a HPT after a week (3 weeks BEFORE my missed period) now we have an amazing, beautiful 6 week old baby boy! Good luck, I know it's gonna be different for everyone but that was just my experience.
I got pregnant about a month and half afterwards. I thought that I had a "real" period but I had some weird spotting a week or so after I had it removed and then about a month later I got a normal period. I got pregnant after that.
I had mine removed after two years. I got pregnant about 3 mos after having it removed, and it ended in miscarriage at 11 weeks. I wish I had of waited a little longer to get pregnant. I think it takes a little time for your uterus to get back to normal.
