I would highly recommend Dreft stain remover if you have never tried it. I use it all the time and it is the best. I have two boys so the stains are countless but this stuff has gotten out blood and red popcicle so I consider it a mircle stain remover.

Hi J.,
I love Spray-N-Wash with Oxi Clean. Soak the spot fwith S-n-W from the out side of the spot in and let it stand for a few mins and then wash. Hang or lay flat to dry. If the sopt is still there try it again. It may take a few time before the spot is out completly. Good Luck.

Try baby oxy-clean. I got out every stain that my little guy ever got on him while he was a baby. I have bought regular oxy-clean, but haven't needed to use it much yet. I put a bit of the baby o.c. in a bowl of water and soak items for a while before putting them through a regular wash cycle.

Hi J.,

Try using De-solv-it. The only place I have found it is Walmart. Spray it on, let it sit a bit, and then wash. That stuff is amazing!

J.,

My mom in law always uses Lest Oil. I give her all my kids clothes that have bad stains. It really does work. You just have to wash the item a couple times after you use the oil because it stinks. She has saved a lot of our clothes with the lest oil. Good luck.

I have just recently found simple green. It is sold in the automotive section, and it works wonders! It is cheap too! Just spray it on and wash right away.

Be careful with Lestoil. It sometimes fades the colors. Before trying it, try Dawn dish washing liquid. It works on quite a few different types of stains.

Also, there is a new product from Spray n Wash for set in stains. I'm not sure how well it works, though.

Hi, I've had good luck with "Bac-Out" by Biokleen. I get it at the East End Food Coop in Point Breeze (piitsburgh), but I imagine that Whole Foods carries it as well. It got wine stains out of brand new carpeting!!!

Spray N Wash with Oxi Clean, the one with two sides of the bottle and then you spray them together. If you let it sit for 10-20 minutes, there is nothing it has not been able to get out with it, but you have to let it sit for that time before you put it in the washer.

i mix borax with warm water to dissolve it and then pour it over the entire garment and into the wash load. Then I go ahead and wash in cold water. I also stop the washer when it is full of water to let it soak for about half an hour. You can let the washer agitate for a bit before stopping the washer. I have used shout and had the same results you did. sometimes it just takes another application. You can try shout directly on the stain and then the borax treatment. Also, I have found that stubborn stains come out easier if washed by themselves. If your washer has a catalyst cycle, it would be best to use this.

I use Zout on everything but make sure it is the one in the blue bottle because the other one is not good. It takes out everything including grease blood oil you name it. Hope this helps. When you put it in the stain scrub it with a scrub brush to make sure that it is soaked into the clothes.

Try using Zout.... Another thing that I have found to work is color safe bleach and soaking it in the washer for atleast 24 hours.... usually this works. As a last resort, try some Dreft... you remember what we used when they were tiny.... Works like a charm...

I always use shout GEL. I have gotten out two year old set in formula stains with it as well as many other stains out of many different types of fabrics. The trick is to put the shout gel on and let it sit for at least 24 hours. Good luck.
