Hi,
About a teaspoon.
Ask your baby's pediatrician first if you can use it. I found that many american pediatricians don't recommend giving it to babies. AND also make sure you get the one with no alcohol in it.
Good luck.
Has anyone used Grip Water?? Does it work??
How often should an 8 month old be eating?

Gripe water from wegmans it is by the pepto , its 12.00$ a bottle it is a godsend, it cures hicups, gas, everything.. it a little brown bottle. I reccomed it to all with babies.. the only kind that works. I tryed others but only the brown bottle works. and I gave it to my son before every bottle and he had lots less gas. I after about a week I didnt have to give it to him as much. it really works good luck!!!
We used "Little Tummies" gripe water constantly for the first 2 months. Our baby boy cried all the time and during one of the lengthy crying sessions, gripe water was the only thing that would work, if only temporarily. I think it worked better than the mylecon. "Babies Bliss" is sold in health food stores and I found that it didn't really work at all. Its worth a try. Sometimes, its good just to let them cry while you hold and comfort them. Sometimes if there is nothing wrong, babies need to let off some steam. Remember though, don't let them cry alone.
I wouldn't use gripe water, try Mylicon Drops, a thermometer up the bum, bicycling the legs, for colic use pillows to raise their heads and back keeping them at an angle,
this helps with other things aswell like stuffy noses and colds.
talk to your doctor before giving gripe water.
