So I went to the doctor yesterday (even though I didn't want to), but all you Mama's said I should so I listened (my mama told me to go too LOL). The doctor put me on a liquid diet for 24 hours and then the BRAT diet for a few days. I will have an u/s on my tummy on Tuesday and had blood work done to check some enzymes. I actually get to eat something for dinner tonight, but the liquid diet has caused diarrhea. Is this normal? I have never been on a liquid diet before.

What can I do next?

I think the purpose of the liquid diet is to clear your gastrointestinal tract (GIT). Yes, it is normal for you to pass out liquid stool. After which you will be placed in a BRAT diet (banana, rice, apple, toast), this would then relieve your diarrhea-like symptoms that you have acquired from the liquid diet. Your GIT is cleared for testing.

It might be your gall bladder doing it and not the liquid diet. Your body's trying to clean itself out.
