I'm typically a vanilla girl. When I go grocery shopping I get a quart of vanilla for the entire family and everyone can customize it with their favorite toppings.
However, I also get a secret stash of ice cream that's ALL MINE that I won't share w/ anyone. I hide it in back of the freezer!
My all time indulgent ice cream flavor is Haagen-Dazs chocolate peanut butter. OMG - you need to try this, it's addicting. I introduced my BFF to it and she's hooked.

What awesome flavors you mommas came up with! I definitely love anything coconut. Love green tea ice-cream and just recently tried mochi - very different but love it! And my ice-cream truck favorite is a drumstick.
New flavors I haven't even heard of but can't wait to try:
- Black Walnut ice cream - sounds interesting.
- Heath Bar - love the candy, so the ice cream must be fab!
- Baskin Robbins Daiquiri ice, sounds very refreshing!
- Haagen-Dazs Delce de Leche - gotta try that!
Have never tried Ben/Jerry's Phish food, I don't even know what's in it, but a lot of you love it. So you mamma's know best, I need to try it!
Finally, Abby D. I LOVE Dane Cook. He' GORGEOUS and oooooooh soooooo nasty! I saw him perform @ the Comedy Club in Hollywood, boy he has a dirty mouth! I embarrassed my hubby, all night I was the loudest lady in the place "WHOOP-WHOOPIN" up! One too many drinks for me!! You've gotta see him in person, he's a hoot & he's HOT!! ;-)

I worked at the biggest ice cream factory in the US for 10 years. There's nothing like a fresh drumstick before it's been wrapped. I always opted for the one with the caramel filling.... so creamy and yummy.
Now I dont buy ice cream much at all. I'm more into pie and coffee in the evening. Coconut cream is my all time fave along with toffee cheesecake as my second fave, but I'll eat hot fudge chocolate "anything" when the time is right.
Coffee ice cream. I think that is the greatest food on earth. Luckily it is hard to find in my area or I would weigh a ton!
My absolute favorite flavor is mocha almond fudge; and the best part is that there is a slight coffee-flavor to it, which I love but my husband and kids hate--which means MORE FOR ME!!! WOO-HOO!!

Other brands of the heath are good too...BUT the child that 'samples' it without permission...

Yep. It's Haagen Dazs chocolate PB for me too. I recently read one of those lists of !!!WORST ICE-CREAMS IN AMERICA!!! and of course, that was #1. So I rarely eat it. But when I do, watch out, don't come near me, that baby's getting polished off!
Oh great you had to go and mention Chocolate Peanut Butter, didn't you?!! My fav Choc/PB is actually Baskin Robins but we actually don't have many left around here. Ben and Jerry's just came out with one and it's like, um, amazing!! I just happened upon it at one store (that I never go to and is sort of out of the way) and have been literally searching and searching...I'm going to have to buckle down and get back to that store and buy a case! ;) Haagen Dazs is good, but you gotta try Ben and Jerry's!!
My other favorite is from a local ice cream shop called Murray's. It's also seriously amazing ice cream and they make lots of fun flavors, all from scratch. The best is Chocolate Flake Fromage. The owner won't divulge what kind of cheese(s) is in it, but I'm guessing it's marascapone. Anyway, it is honestly the best ice cream I've ever, ever, had! I get a pint all for myself and then some to share with hubby!
Yup chocolate peanut butter! And daiquiri ice from baskin Robbins, or cotton candy or bubblegum, I just don't like to share period!
I am not an ice cream person at all, HOWEVER, I cannot turn down Black Walnut Ice Cream.
My hubby loves it as well so sometimes I indulge with a very small cone.
When I was growing up, we always had home made ice cream, it was a thing for the family and it was good! I will eat a bite of home made ice cream if I go back and visit family because they always make it... its tradition.
I think part of the reason I do not eat ice cream is because I worked at a store that sold hand dipped huge cones and I was sick of it from dipping it all the time!!

Haagen-Daz chocolate peanut butter is so yummy! I also love their chocolate chocolate chip, other favorites are Phish Food, New York Super Fudge Chunk and Everything But The.... by Ben and Jerry's. I think I am off to the store now for an ice cream fix!!! :-)

Ben & Jerry's choc brownie used to be my secret passion. I recently tried Edy's Waffle cone sundae (?) and WOW! I was stunned at how yummmmmmy!
And my son chose an Edy's variety I don't recall the name of.... it was coffee ice cream with chocolate bits and maybe some marshmallow? Ohh... it was divine. It was MudPie.
I'm all over the Ben and Jerry's Phish Food - Chocolate Ice Cream with marshmallow and caramel swirl and fish-shaped fudge pieces. It's really the only kind I eat and my husband doesn't even ask to share anymore. :)

any ice cream, as long as it's not butter pecan. i will share most everything, but i HAVE to have the last little bit. That's my bad mommy moment happening. i feel guilty :( but i still do it every time we have ice cream in the house. most especially if its chocolate brownie fudge, or anything with those names in the title.
If you haven't tried red velvet cake ben and jerrys or blue bunny I suggest you drop everything and go now! Its the best thing ever and I will not share!
Ben & Jerry's Midnight Snack! OMG is that ever good. Vanilla ice cream with caramel swirls and chocolate-covered potato chips. The best part is the chips are still crunchy!
Graeter's Black Raspberry Chip. It's an Ohio brand and when we moved to Vegas I had withdrawal symptoms. lol. But nirvana has arrived: Smith's is now selling it here (limited flavors, but it's HERE!!!!! )
Well, I love choc/PB, so I'll have to try your recommendation! I love Umpqua's Chocolate Brownie Thunder. If you've never had Umpqua, it's a pacific NW brand that they carry at WinCo. ALL their flavors are fantastic!
My fave "old school" flavor is Thrifty's Chocolate Malted Crunch. :)

my kids dont like nuts in their ice cream, they wont eat it, so my fav is black walnut and pistachio. i do like black cherry and sherbert pineapple with the vanilla ice cream. those i have to hide.
During the Christmas season Schwan's has a peppermint ice cream. It has chunks of C. cane in it. I always buy 2 because it sells out fast. It is the best! I do share it with my 3 yr old cause she doesn't eat much! LOL.
It's my favorite cause you can only get it that time of year. If I could get it all the time I probably wouldn't eat it. Go figure.

ok I am also a closet ice cream junkie!!! My total FAVE is Haagen-Dazs Dulce de leche!!!mmmmm!!!!! I would never even let anyone know I was thinking of getting some and after checking the nutrition facts I NEVER look at the back of the carton, I just eat and enjoy, it is sooooooooooooooooo yummy!!
There's an ice cream/coffee shop within walking distance called Sabastian Joe's. They are famous for their Raspberry Choc Chip ice cream and that rep is well deserved! Also love their Oreo, a flavor I don't ever buy anywhere else.
My long-time, from when I was a kid, flavor is Chocolate Chip. I still love it!
Any of my Skinny Cow ice creams, my favs are the cones and the single serve cups.
I LOVE Baskin Robbins Choc Peanut butter. I actually remember when it was a "test" flavor that came out when I was in high school. Then it was gone for a year or more and showed up again...thank God! I have to put it in a dish, if I were to just eat it out of the container I would eat the whole thing and then be sick! :o)
I'm not a big ice cream person but my faves are Daquiri Ice from Baskin Robbins or Pralines and Cream. The Daquiri Ice is so refreshing but it's getting harder and harder to find so I usually end up with the Pralines which I like almost just as much. :)

Phish Food! I get a good-sized tub of it and everyone knows better than to ask to share with me. That goes for any ice cream that's good, but I wouldn't touch Grandpa's homemade horse radish ice cream with a 10 foot pole if he'd made it during my lifetime (my cousin was brave enough to try it).

Vanilla with ribbons of chocolate syrup. Sounds simple but it is delish!
I used to love, love, LOVE Chocolate Almond Mallow... To DIE for - it was exactly what it sounds likes. Chocolate ice cream with almonds and ribbons of marshmallow... YUM! Sadly, they don't make it anymore. The closest I've found is Goo Goo Cluster, but it's not quite the same. Okay, now you've got me craving ice cream! :)

I absolutely love Cherry Cordial from Ralphs.......very yummy. However, my wonderful son works @ Ralphs and when he sees I'm blue I get Cherry Garcia.

To tell you the truth, I am not crazy about ice cream. I am more of a homemade pie person. When I was younger I loved Ice Cream treats, Grandma T, I would have loved to work at that dairy!!!
I did purchase a gallon Of Blue Bell Peaches and Homemade vanilla ice cream last night. I thought it would be nice to serve to a dinner guest last night. My family almost fell over when they saw it. ..
We have a local Ice Cream Parlor called Amy's. I will go along with the family and get the "tiny sized" scoop of Sweet cream topped with fresh strawberries and the homemade hot fudge, but I am really just there to be with my family..
