I would try Annies fruity bunnies cereal and see if she reacts to them. They don't have the preservatives and artificial colors and flavors in them.

Check the flours that are used. My daughter has a rice allergy and one of those she cannot have.
Personally my kids didn't get those cereals very often, too much sugar and perservatives.

Yes, I had this with lots of foods, though. My kids are allergic to dairy, gluten and all dyes are a no-no too. Are there any other differences between the cereals?

Cheerios tend to be with oat flour and Trix are generally corn. It could also have to do with the juices they use for flavoring or It could be a sensitivity to the preservatives in them.

Have you every bought Cascadian Farms Fruitful O's? They're like fruit loops only naturally colored and flavored, and all organic. You can get them on sale at Kroger and there is usually a peelie coupon for $1 off two.
