Does anyone know if the weekly deals at Fred Meier are the same as the deals at Kroger? I always thought they were since they're of the same affiliate.

What can I do next?

I've found they're different, sometimes. Our Kroger stores are Fred Meyer and QFC.

I'm also amazed that there's a Fred Meyer out in Texas! I grew up in the 70's with FM being a rather 'homegrown' store. Things have changed!

You could check Smith's weekly ads. I'm not sure what other stores sell Kroger brand, but Smith's does.

No, they are not, at least not always though they often have similar ones. We get both flyers in the mail & compare.

For example, right now Kroger & Meijer have strawberries on sale. But the meats on sale are different.

I can't tell you about FM and Kroger, but it isn't uncommmon for differen't brands of stores to be owned by the same corporation. Its also not uncommon to have different sales ads for the same store brand in different towns.

One of my daughters lives 13 miles from me and she and I get different Food 4 Less ads. We also get different Stater Brothers ads.

Good luck to you and yours.

When I lived in Denver, the Kroger affiliate was King Soopers. I would read about the other Kroger deals on www.moneysavingmom.com and I'd try to get the same deals. One time I found that Denver was a week late on the same deal. So, maybe they will have the same items on sale, but at different times. And, it may be on sale but at different prices...like $1.99 in one market and $2.19 in another market. You can look at their ads online and compare too.
