Unless you have last minute shoppers it isn't an issue. They will ship what they don't have to that store to pick up.
so i created a registry online just now for babies r us .. im not going to put anything on it just yet.. my fiance is pretty excited to go tomorrow since he has a day off.. so tomorrow we're gna go and im going to bascially let him go crazy and do what he wants.. and take all of your wonderful suggestions from my previous registry question and just fix it all online as time goes by and we see what we want/what we need.. im not sure when he will have another day off again so other than tomorrow we will probably do everything online.. but heres my question.. they have so0o much stuff on the website that i know they dont have in the babies r us by where we live .. now id say almost every single person thats going to be goign to my shower n getting me baby stuff will go to the one thats by our house expect maybe 2 or 3 people.. is there a way to tell if your picking stuff out online if they have it at a particular store without having to go back and forth to the specific stores website?? i feel like if im picking all this stuff thats on the website but they dont have it in the store its kind of pointless for me to be putting it on there in the first place, i dont want people to go to the store and get my registry and realize they dont have most of the thigns i pickedd.. am i just missing something on the website?? or is this normal

What the other people said, AND you could let people know that if it is shipped to the store, you don't have to pay shipping charges :)
Well, at the store the buyer can select ""items available in store" as a filter before they start shopping. I wouldn't load up the registry with things that people have to order. Most people don't shop that far in advance!
I don't know if there is a way to do that but if people buy you stuff off your registry then you can return it if its not exactly what you wanted and get the other stuff. if you don't get it at the store they will give you a gift card for the balance which you can then use online
I was so disappointed in Babies R Us this time around. they has so few selections in the actual store. So it wasn't as much fun as when they used to actually stock the store (before it combined with Toys R Us they had a lot more selection). And although you can order online and have it delivered to the store, when they have coupons and discounts, they don't count towards items that were bought online. They are also about $20 more expensive than walmart and amazon. I did register for some things there, but I ended up returning them, getting the money back and buying the same thing at walmart for a lot less.
Just go in the store nearby you..pick out everything there...problem solved!
Folks can order on line and have it shipped to store, free of charge. Then
just pick it up. I went to Buy Buy Baby today with my son and DIL to buy
crib. OMG never been there. Overwhelming. Have never seen so much
for babies in my life. If they had one type of sippy cup they had 100, same
for carseats, strollers. Congratulations.
Normal. We had a ToysRus with a section for Babies. We had way fewer choices. We went to a real Babies R Us and bought all the big stuff ourselves using cash gifts and gift cards.
If you are online some items will say "online only." At least this is how it works with Toys R Us which is the same family of stores. Actually Toys R Us has a pick up in store option so you can see if the item is actually at the store near you. Otherwise you can go tomorrow and then maybe make 1 more visit after doing most stuff online. Also if you are very pregnant or have a newborn sometimes it is easier to order online and have bigger stuff delivered.
Since you live very near me here is the deal on the stores near us. The Babies R Us in Totowa or Paramus usually has a good selection, better than the combined Babies R Us and Toys R Us in Seacaucus.
Well I hope your not expecting your friends to buy everything you need. By the way Toys r us is overpriced. And Its hard to read your post the way your grammar is. Are you not excited for the baby also?
