We just purchased some frames with canopy's but....the footboard isn't high enough to keep the kids from potentially from falling off the bead. Anyone know of any alternatives (cargo nets or something that's not hideous :)

Thank you for your input!

Are your kids 2 1/2 and 4 years old? (I looked at your profile.) I really wouldn't worry about them falling out of the bed at that age. You could put pillows on the floor by the areas you're concerned about. We did that for the first couple of months. It just made us feel better. I'm sure they'll be fine.

Hmm. Guess I don't understand the question. Why would kids fall out of bed over the foot board. There are rails that have legs that fit under the mattress to put on the side of the bed to stop roll overs. I suppose you could use one on the foot too.

Why would they fall off the foot of the bed? Are they old enough for that type of bed? Do they play on the bed? I don't think my children ever fell off the bed at all, let alone off the end of the bed. I'm not sure how that would happen.

Good luck!
