I need some ideas for easy (and not too pricey) food for my twins 3rd birthday party. We won't have a lot of time to eat, but the party is at 5:00 so I know they'll be hungry for more than cake. I am sick of pizza and was hoping for some other good ideas? THANKS! :)

What can I do next?

A big hit at my Son's 3rd b-day were uncrustable sandwhiches (buy in the frozen section, peanut butter and jelly), they were great because you can buy in bulk if needed and by the time you are ready to serve they are thawed and they are easy for the kids to eat. I also got the pre-cut packages of apple slices as well as string cheese sticks. Then on the table I had several bowls of goldfish, pretzel sticks etc so the kids could come and go with quick easy snacks. For the parents I did sub sandwhiches and chips - easy and quick. Hope this might help!
Have fun - E.

What about a chick-fil-a nugget tray? We do that at our playgroup a lot and the kids always love it. Add some carrots and ranch and some chips and they're in heaven.

Cheese sticks, Apples, raisens, goldfish, pretzels, or you could make cheese sandwiches(or any flavor you want) and cute them into squares or triangles-my kids love that. HTH

taco bar - with beef, chicken, beans, rice, cheese, tortillas etc. - kids love to build their own tacos!

pasta bar - pasta with red sauce, white sauce, meatballs etc. - what kid doesn't love pasta?? - put out some garlic bread and veggies with dip - done and pretty inexpensive

finger foods - mini sandwiches, fruit tray, veggies and dip, chicken nuggets, mini corn dogs, mozzarella sticks, bagel bites etc.

Breakfast for dinner - breakfast burritos, pancakes or french toast, fruit, sausages etc.
