There is a wonderful organization located in Jersey City and it is called Hudson Cradle and they nuture and take care of 20 infants @ a time throughout the year....I visited the site because a collegue and I help raise money for the holiday season and I fell in love w/the program and the nurses were very attentive and nuturing...

There is a food bank in Mahwah on Campgaw Road. I am a single mom and they have been helping me with food and I gladly recommend them and this way you can help a family in great need.

K., I think you can bring it to the police department. I live in Westwood, and the police department has a box setup in their lobby. Alternatively, you can bring it to any local church and they would donate as well.

I'm in the same boat! BUT, I received a brown paper bag with my newspaper today. The Action Against Hunger Foundation is accepting donations at most supermarkets on Oct. 14th from noon to 4p.m. Baby food is one of the items listed. Check with your local supermarket.
