Never, never, never. Seriously. You should never have to pay for job listings.
Hello,
Has anyone used the website flexjobs.com and actually found work? There is a fee to sign up , so I was wondering if its worth it or not.
Never, never, never. Seriously. You should never have to pay for job listings.
It's a service. All job postings are available elsewhere for free.
If you join, look for a coupon code for a discount!
How much is it to join?? I'm always skeptical about having to pay to find a job so I always google said company and "scam" to see what pops up.
I just perused the Web site real quick and beware, the fee (which I couldn't find but was lazy), AUTOMATICALLY renews every three months...
My 18-year old just signed up . . . (long story) - so far, nothing. He accidentally bought the year's subscription - I would do it month-to-month until I see if I like it.
They do seem to have lots of job postings and a good Facebook presence with career tips. I'm just not sure how many people actually get jobs that way.
Good luck.
I would never pay to get job listings. There are tons if free sites availabel.
I bought the offer when Mamasource had it last year or 2, cannot remember. It was only a couple of $ and it did not renew, it was only good for the period of time that the offer covered. Mamasource it offering it again and I am considering it. It has a ton of jobs in several states, You can look specifically for telecommuting or other. What I liked is I could look for a job in CA that was only telecomute but I could work in Chicago. That is why I am considering again. Plus at the time I had it before, my husband was still under worker's comp so could not yet work but there were a lot of jobs for him. Yes you could search sites on your own and find the jobs listed on Flexjobs but I thought it made it easier. If you have been out of a job for a long time or need help, I think it is a good source. The offier now is $25 for a year or $15 for 3 months. I am considering getting it to find something for my husband
