First Time Possibly Pregnant?

I have never been pregnant before. My coworker recently had a miscarriage. I ended my menstruation for October already, 12 days after I started bleeding again. This was the time my coworker had her miscarriage. I experienced cramping, had strange cravings, ate like I was always hungry, headaches, and mood swings. I don't know if the hormones my coworker had possibly affected mine. I am spotting as of right now (I thought at one point it was breakthrough bleeding) , I took a EPT and it was negative, but still have the headaches, mood swings, hunger...Am I over thinking? Or is there a chance that I am pregnant?

What can I do next?

Are you on the pill? Sometimes when you have breakthrough bleeding, the dose needs to be adjusted. Also, PMS can mimic pregnancy symptoms and sometimes ovulation can lead to spotting too. Do the pregnancy test again in about a week.

ByThere is no way that your coworker's hormones has affected you. Her experience has increased your anxiety which might cause your symptoms. Know that periods are not always the same. I suggest that you find a way to stop worrying while you wait a 4-6 weeks to see if your symptoms subside.

If you want to be pregnant in an intense way you can develop symptoms without being pregnant. You can also be more aware and notice things you wouldn't ordinarily be aware. Many things can cause these symptoms. I can think of no reason that you would to need to be seen by the doctor immediately. I would wait and see.

Or call your doctor and talk with the advice nurse.

Ask your doctor.
There is no way for anyone to tell you over the internet.

Really? First time question, can you be pregnant?

Well P. P..... of course you can be pregnant if you had sex.

Go to the Dr. and get yourself tested if you still wonder.

I have a hard time believing this is a real post... trip

if you've had unprotected sex, it's possible you are pregnant.

Are you on the pill?

It doesn't sound like you're pregnant.

Maybe, maybe not. Just wait it out like we old folks did before home pregnancy tests.
