Could you be shaking the bottle too much or taking alot of quick stokes instead of long slow strokes? J.
Does anybody know how to prevent the tiny bubbles when you paint your fingernails? Every time I paint them they look great at first but by the time they dry they have bubbles all over them. It's very frustrating.
Thank you to all who responded. I tried not shaking the bottle and it seemed to work.

Instead of shaking your polish bottle before you paint roll it gently between your hands. It's the shaking that makes the bubbles in the polish.
Don't shake your nailpolish. Instead, just roll it gently between your hands. This should help prevent air bubbles. Also, check how old your polish is. If it's ancient, it may be time for new polish.
I think it might be one of these possibilities:
The nail polish has the bubbles from shaking it.
The nail polish you are using (top coat, base coat, or color) is old.
The mixture of color coat and base or top coat is not the same brand and they may be having a reaction to each other's chemicals.
The method of drying (maybe by heat?) is making chemicals in the nail polish expand and making bubbles.
I could be wrong, but I would try not shaking first, then change your drying method, and if it still bubbles then maybe try to use the same brand top/base coat as the color coat.
Good thing I used to do this for a living!!! Never shake the nail polish bottle...only roll it between your hands...this causes bubbles. Also wiping you nail with rubbing alcohol first helps get rid of any oil on your nails helping the polish to stay longer. Hope this helps!!
Yes, don't shake the bottle. Roll it between your palms to mix it up. Shaking does create the bubbles and will also make your polish 'dry out' <get sticky> faster. And if that occurs, add a little splash of nail polish remover to it and it will be good as new! :)
ME TOO i would like to know as well. It's one of those little things I can't explain
I heard it's from 2 things:
1. Each layer is not properly dry before you put on the other coat. It supposedly takes up to 24 hours for a coat to dry. Hmm...I don't have that kind of time, do you? haha!
2. Each layer is too thick.
I've always had that problem, so I started putting thin layers on. Then I would use on of those sprays that dry the polish fast. Problem is that they chip within a day or two! It's a viscious cycle. Hope this helps!
