My daughter got into our dark red finger nail polish spilling it all over beige furniture fabric, her pink & white shirt as well as my blue t -shirt & jeans! How can I get it out?
The only thing I can think of is nail polish remover...trying it in an inconspicuous location first. Oh, or call the nail polish company for suggestions, and the remover company to see if it is safe for furniture. You can wash the clothes right away to get it out, but furniture is harder.
I used Motsenbocker's lift off #3 to get red nail polish out of my beige carpet. It came out so easy I was amazed! http://www.liftoffinc.com/product-ink-remover.php I had to order it off the internet, so it was a few days before I got it out of the carpet, and it was no problem. It says that it works on upholstery, I would try a small part of the couch that no one sees first to make sure it doesnt discolor, but I wouldnt hesitate to use it on them myself, seeing how easy it came out of the carpet.
You can use Awesome. You can buy it at the dollar store. Just pour it over the stain and let it sit for a little while and you should be able to rub it out. It worked for me when my niece spilled burgundy polish in my beige carpet.
I would take the clothes to the dry cleaner right away. For the furniture, try a carpet cleaning company. My younger daughter spilled hot pink nail polish on the white carpet in our house, and the carpet cleaning company got it all out!

Oh, please make sure you know what kind of fabric is before using ANYTHING.
Acetone (finger nail polish remover) is a very potent chemical which will melt some synthetic fibers. There should be tags inside the fabric or on the underside of the skirt of the furniture - if you can't find care instructions, call the manufacturer and see what they recommend.
When we purchased our sofa, we were able to choose our fabric, and intentionally chose ones that could take solvents, water and soaps.
It's a simple phone call to make/research to do to save you potentially hundreds of dollars in a mistake.
As for the clothes, cottons should be OK, but I'd take the advice of the original poster and test in an inconspicuous place first to be certain. I ruined the dress I wore to my grandmother's funeral by accidentally spilling acetone on it.

SOL-U-MEL will take it out. It’s a mother’s dream!! It gets tough stains out of EVERYTHING! It took out permanent marker from our couch upholstery and I recently used it to get old stains from our carpet. It took crayon off the wall in one swipe! It’s amazing!!!
