i was wondering if i could give my daughter more tylenol. i gave her the dose and right after she threw up. i think she threw it all up but not positive. please help

You have no way of knowing what actually got into her system. You might try motrin if she's old enough. But you'd really need to wait at least 90 minutes after she vomited before giving her anything to give her tummy time to settle.

Well, I am not a doctor but I would give her a dose of mortin now and switch back to tylenol for the next dose. My ped. said it was okay to give motrin if the fever didn't go down 2 hours after a dose of tylenol. They are different types of medications and don't work the same way. If the fever is under 100 degrees you don't need to medicate it and can just wait for the next dose. I don't know your kid but with mine (ages 1 and 4) whenever they have had a fever it has ended up being an ear infection so we ended up at the doctor anyway.
