I'm new to this website/Chesapeake Va/pregnancy! Last Wednesday I found out I was pregnant, my guess is I'm 5-6 weeks along. I gained a little weight before I was pregnant thinking I would focus on that once my move. Now that I'm pregnant I know I can't focus on too much. Do you ladies have any advice on how to tone up(safely)?

What can I do next?

Walk...outside or on a treadmill. It will help you with labor too.

Just don't eat too much extra. Do some walking, weights and yoga.

Walking and very light weights (5 lbs at the MOST)! You are pregnant, so you need to be aware of how your body is responding to exercise, but you aren't sick or disabled, so get out there and move! You will be glad that you did.
