Are there any good sites that have information for fathers, always want to do the right thing but at times my hands get hand-cuffed behind me and I get left behind. Just would like some information about the subject anyhow!!!

What can I do next?

Hi J.,

I love the book Hold Onto Your Kids: Why Parents Should Mater more than Peers. Written by a male child psychologist, who has really excellent insights into parent child-relationships (and competing peer relationships). He is a parent of daughters himself, who felt "left behind."
This book has been out for a few years...I found it at the public library.

They have a good booklet called supporting adolescents.
I am a teacher and consultant, they are a non-profit and have tele-conference parenting classes.

If you want a private session you can contact them or me direct.

My dad gave my husband the book "Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters - 10 Secrets Every Father Should Know" by Meg Meeker - he said he wished he'd had it when I was a teenager.
