Spend time alone with her. Take her to a nice meal. Take her to the movies. Time with me or our family is what my mom never gets tired of.
Me and my siblings were raised by our mom with no father figures around (which we are all okay btw). I am a single mom raising my daughter wonderfully like a independent woman like my mother so I understand the things she had to go through. We always celebrate fathers day with her for as long as I can remember. My question is what is a good gift to get a mom who has done it all? I have racked my mind trying to think of a good gift and I have no idea what to get her. Anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance =)

A massage or a Hot Stone Treatment.
I do the same for my mother. We just do home made things ie a card that says thanks for being both mom and dad... you know cute things like that.
If any of you played sports thank her for helping with that or something of that matter.
I raised my son from age 5 months, alone, (he is 38 and I am still single). You may think this to be a crazy idea, but if single Mom's are the least bit 'handy', they can always use things that Dad's use, like tools, gardening tools, a gift certificate for a Home and Garden Store, every homeowner needs something........Lowe's or Home Depot have tons of wonderful appliances, lighting, ceiling fans, decorator items, plants, curtains to screw drivers. Gift certificates for a bunch of car washes, oil changes, or detailing the inside of car.
Something for the house. I would rather have things like that than personal items, (clothes, make-up, cologne, I would rather buy for myself).
How about a "handy man gift certificate" for a needed project around the house, paint job, power wash the siding, stain the deck, fix those little nuisance things, like leaky faucet, clean out the garage or basement, clean the gutters. Lawn/landscaping. I love my leaf/lawn blower vac. My son just powerwashed my house and shed, looks like it has new life. For Mother's day, he sent in my tape deck receiver and had it repaired, something I would not have spent to do myself. He is so into electronics, so I have way above average equipment, very high end, all from him, for birthday's, Christmas, etc. Mom's don't all have to be into all "feminine" things.
My Dad died when I was 16, so my Mom who is now 97, would rather have something done FOR her, rather than some item she can't use or have place to store.
Just some outside the box thoughts. Will look forward to reading the other ideas.
A gift certificate for a Spa Day : )
