I typically don't read other responses before I respond so I apologize if I am a repeat. there are several ways...

1. go to YOUR page - NOT your "home" page but YOUR page by clicking on your name. then type in their name. Their page will come up. IF THEY DO NOT HAVE "TIMELINE", on the left hand side of the screen is their information - towards the bottom? you will see a report/block - click on that - a box will come up with this message in it:

# Unsubscribe from John Smith
You will no longer see updates from John in your News Feed.
# Unfriend John Smith
John will not be able to post on your wall
#Block John Smith
Blocking means you won't be able to see or contact each other on Facebook

IF they TIMELINE - go to their page as I stated above..
On the right hand side you will see a "wheel" with a "down arrow" next to it, click on that arrow. A menu will drop down. And these selections will appear:

* See Friendship
* Poke...
* Add to Interest Lists...
* Suggest Friends...
* Unfriend...
* Report/Block...
* Go Back
Make your selection there.

If you want to go to your page, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TIMELINE, go to your page, on the left hand side there are menu selections and "friends" will be there. Select "friends" and type in their name. Follow directions above.

OR you can go to their posts and "hide" his story by right clicking on the down arrow on the post...

1) Click on their name
2) You will see "Friends"
3) Click on "Friends" and at the bottom of the options you will see "Unfriend," click it : )

On the top of your page, where it says "Search for people, places, or things" type in the name of your friend. Click on it when it comes up...

Then when go to her profile, on the top right will be 3 boxes, One says "friends" with a check-mark on it. Hover over it, and it will drop down. At the bottom of the drop down menu it will say "unfriend".

If you want to block her from seeing your profile, it is in the 3rd box (it looks like a gear with an arrow. On that one, drop down and click 'block/report')

I don't know how to delete friends, butif you scroll next to the post on the right a drop down arrow will appear and you can hide posting by that person. That is all I did with some "friends" who wrote some really off the wall stuff.

go to your profile. Then you will see the box with friends under it. Click on that then find your "friend" you want to delete. In thier profile it will say friends with a check mark on it ( if they have the new format then its on the right hand side under their banner pic) and click on that box and go down to unfriend and that should unfriend them.

Click on your name on the top right of the wall page.

It will take you to your timeline. In the middle of the top there will be a box named friends. Click on that and you can see your list of friends. If that doesn't work you can find a list usually under your profile picture in that list.

I love time line, okay, don't shoot me. I am one of those who do not like change at all. Time line is here to stay, and for those who will take the time it is way more organized and condensed.
