There is one group of centers that I WOULD NOT send my own child to and that is any youthland. I worked for youthland for 3 years and my daughter also attended. My daughter came home with a red ring around her neck from a bib being on too tight...their eplanation is that it was from her car seat!they are horrible. they rarely in my expierence follow state liscensing regulations (they do basicaly whatever they want until its time for an inspection and then they scramble to make things the way they should be) Their staff is uneducated and they have very high turnover. Just honestly as another mom I do not think those centers are safe or appropriate for any child.

We used to deal with the Mariemont Youthland, and they were great...Of course, that was a good 10 years ago, and the staff is different now....but my girls have had a few friendships since babyhood since we've always stayed in the same neighborhood / school system. It all started there at Youthland. P.

We had our son in the infant room at the Colerain Youthland for all of about 2.5 days and pulled them. The staff in the room was horrible, never paid any attention to the instructions we gave and were extremely rude to me after dropping him off on his first day (I balled like a baby - well, not that bad, but I was understandably emotional). When I picked him up, he was filthy - I mean, like no one was watching him eat, filthy. The final straw was when they told me after several instructions NOT to give him table food (we were just introducing him so we wanted him to have baby food while there) - they gave him TACOS and hard carrots. We were livid and yanked him right away. The director and assistant director didn't even ask why and made it clear they weren't all that interested.

That's just my experience and it was just about a year ago, but wanted to share. Hope by now you've found a place you love!
