Wear whatever you want! You're eloping -make it fun! If you want to wear jeans and a t-shirt or matching outfits or a full-on wedding dress -you should wear whatever makes you happy! Congratulations and have fun!
Please help!!! I'm eloping on Tuesday and I have no idea what to wear! Ideas please! I was thinking a nice burgundy shirt with tights and half calf boots. My fiancé is wearing a burgundy shirt and black slacks. is this cute or tacky? Help please I'm going crazy.

I think it's cute. wear something that makes you stand out from him but at the same time match. (necklace or something)
Wow...congratulations for your big day. Wear what ever makes you feel "Bridey" (is that a word?). You want the world to revolve around you just for this one day. If it is a matching set to future hubby,,,then so be it. If I may be so bold...I would wear something that would make me remember what a great day it was. Maybe something lacy underneath or a fancy dress...or even great shoes...but something that sets this day apart from other days. God Bless and congrats.
Your outfit sounds nice but a little too matchy-matchy. I would wear a diff colored shirt and accessorize it with burgundys. Many congrats to you and your fiance!!!
Wear whatever makes you comfortable and be sure to have someone take a picture of you. Whether you elope or not, it's a special day and you'll want a photo or two.
My sister and brother in law eloped. Only me and my mom knew they were going to do it. They were trying to avoid a huge bruhaha on his side of the family. He wore jeans and a flannel shirt, she wore a white t-shirt and jeans and they went fishing afterwards. They've been married almost 20 years. She does have pictures, because of regardless of how they were dressed or how it was done, it was the day they got married. They have their story and their pictures for their grandchildren.
The main thing is that they've been devoted to each other.
Do what makes you feel happy.
Congratulations!
I say wear whatever you feel beautiful and confident in!! But I eloped and I always regretted it...do u plan to have a ceremony later? Regaurdless lake lots of pics :) but if he's wearing burgundy top and black slacks...why don't you wear black top and burgundy tights? Same colors jus swapped up so no clashing... Congrats!
wear whatever you feel terrific in! And be sure to take a nice photo so you can look back and remember your special day! Congrats!
Hi~ Congrats! I would wear whatever you feel the most comfortable in and beautiful in. Since your fiance is wearing burgandy/black, you could do this too or find a pretty burgundy gown----As long as you aren't totally different with your outfits, you will look fine! Good luck and best wishes....

Wear whatever your fiance will think you look gorgeous in. My husband seeing me in my wedding dress was one of the best moments of my whole wedding day. Congratulations!
Yeah, that is a little too close, but tights and boots would be cute with a mini skirt, long tunic-like top or something. Similar-colored jewelry would be cute as someone suggested. Have fun! We were boring and my husband wore khackis and a casual dress shirt and tie and I wore a church dress with a cardigan, but we got married in a library (college break, just the two of us but we did tell people ahead of time).
congrats! Wear whatever you feel pretty in, if you feel it, he's sure to think it too! Many blessings for a wonderful futre together.
Have fun, sounds cute, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and attractive! To avoid being too matchy, maybe a pretty chocolate brown or charcoal top would look good instead with burgundy accessories, but that's just my opinion.
I'm jealous, wish I would have eloped ;)
Wear what you like! As long as you are comfortable and happy with it, who cares what others think?!! It's YOUR day!!
The outfits sound great. Congratulations!
Well, it depends what you have in mind, as the bride-to-be. You have your own individual taste, budget, and there is a time constraint too.
Here's the thing, if it were me, I would dress up a little. It's a special day so when you look back on it in 10 or 20 years....
Here are some ideas:
For night time, you could even wear a lovely black dress or suit. For daytime, you could wear a pretty dress, any color really. I think cream, ivory, green, beige or even yellow would be sensational. Or a nice shade of blue, it's one of my favorite colors with burgundy. So is pink ! The only thing is, I understand you're eloping, but it's one day you want to feel and be pretty. So, head over and get your nails done and maybe your brows waxed, if that is in your budget and time permits. Maybe buy yourself a single flower or get yourself a little bouquet...any kind that you like. Trim the stems down, if you want and wrap it in some tissue and/or ribbon...the color of his shirt or your dress. Don't forget some cute earrings, to accentuate your face.
Don't forget to wear something old...something new....something borrowed...and something blue. I don't know why they say that...maybe for luck !
It is supposed to be one of the happiest days of your life, so whatever you do or choose, just remember to be happy and try not to stress. Whatever you wear, you hubby to be will think you are the most beautiful woman in the world !
Congratulations.
Go buy yourself a new outfit! Find something you love that will be special for your big day. I always regretted my tiny little wedding, I wish I would have done it up right. But, at least make yourself look your best and take lots and lots of pictures!
i have no idea what u should wear. just wanted to say congrats. enjoy it!!!! :)
