sounds complicated, but you can make mac n cheese, just bake right before - always a kid favorite
Don't forget about chips perhaps a bean dip
baked beans.
Hi Moms,
We are having a party next weekend by our pool. (my bday is the following day) We normally do bbq's, but then my husband is cooking all day. I want him to be included on the fun... I decided I want a bunch of subs ( it's cheaper for us to make them, then to order them)... What easy sides can we make to go with the subs?
We are doing:
Fruit platter
veggie platter
pickles
potato/macaroni salad
what else? It's for about 40 people :)
Thanks moms!!

Whenever I eat a sub/sandwich for some reason I feel they need to be eaten with potato chips, I would make sure to have some of those too. Have fun!
Deviled eggs, pasta salad, chip and dip...
Add olives, pickled peppers and the like to your pickle tray. Maybe add another simple salad or fruit salad or casserole. A couple kinds of Chips and dip and maybe cheese and a few different types of crackers or humus and crackers.
Have Fun!
I would add chips and a tossed salad. Have a wonderful party!
ceasar salad, colslaw, haiwwian salad, chips/ nachos with nacho nip
I just asked a question about Phyllo cups and what to put in them.....Some recommend Guacamole and sour cream, or a simple fruit salad in the phyllo cups. That would go well with your main dish. :-) What you have listed should be enough. Keep it simple for you all ok. That way you all can join the fun too. :-) I think what you have is great already....no need to add anything else.
Chips and fresh fruit salad.
Chips and salsa; coleslaw
I vote for chips, fresh fruit, and a simple salad with just maybe lettuce, tomato, cucumber and a few dressing choices.
Sounds like you have plenty already!
