We have had ours up for a week now and we will take down the Monday after Easter.
I bought an inflatable Easter Bunny from Wal-Mart. He was just so cute!! I am not sure WHEN to put him outside or WHEN to take him down.

Cheryl B and 3Girls&aHusband2love have the right idea.
The first two answers are why I hate HOAs. I saw one HOA "cop" out walking the neighborhood with a ruler. He was sticking it in everyones lawn to make sure the lawns weren't over a certain height. Talk about micro managing! And everone in the HOA was paying dues so this "cop" could walk around and measure lawn heights. Talk about a waste of money.
Good luck to you and yours.
I'd put him out on Good Friday and bring him in Sunday night.
I would put him out now and take him down the day after Easter.
You can put him up now, it is close to the holiday! In my area, there is a rule that holiday decorations can be up 30 days prior to and 15 days after a holiday (otherwise we can be written up).
I'd say you could probably put him out any time, as long as you don't have any windy weather that is going to blow him away. Then I would take him down as soon as Easter is over (i.e. after Easter Monday). I like hanging plastic eggs on one of our little trees in front of our house but it always seems like we'll get a really windy day right after and a bunch of them get blown down. :(
Our neighborhood homeowner's association states decorations no sooner than 2 weeks before a holiday, and then we have 1 week to get them down (Christmas being the exception).
Any time after Easter! Pull the plug and put him/her aside for a while, then if you inten to keep him/her for next Easter, carefully fold and put in a bag or box.
