so i got my daughter earths best diapers, but before i went out and bought them i looked into the brand and i saw nothing but really great reviews on this brand . . my daughter usually doesnt have a problem adapting to any brands but with this brand she got a really bad rash!
has anybody else had this problem? i thought it would be a great purchase not only because they are cheaper then other brands but organic also. . . maybe i was wrong?

What can I do next?

You can be allergic to anything, including natural products. Just because something is organic or non-toxic does not make it hypoallergenic.

I applaud you for trying to choose a "green" product. You might want to go to the product's website and contact them about your problem. Ask them for a list of "ingredients" used in the diaper, which may help you in pinpointing and avoiding whatever your daughter is allergic to.

I haven't tried earth's best, but my LO gets rashes from all the diapers we've tried ... except cloth! We also always had blowouts until we switched. I was pretty shocked by modern cloth diapers ... they go on just like disposables and we'll probably save about $1500 over disposables by the time she's potty trained. Anyway, if you get fed up with disposables or are just interested in info about cloth, let me know. :)

Baby skin is VERY sensitive to all kinds of things, so I'm sure that all diaper brands have made some babies break out in rashes, though it does seem like the "standards" (Pampers and Huggies) don't cause them as much. My daughter developed a HORRIBLE rash (open sores!!) after three days of using Seventh Generation diapers. We immediately switched back to Luvs (which is made by Pampers, I've been told), and she never had the problem again.

p.s. if your baby does have open sores, try Neosporin to help with the healing. My ped prescribed a very expensive ointment, and when I asked the pharmacist for an alternative, she said try Neo, and it worked. Saved me about $50!
