EARLY Pregnancy Symptoms?? - Salt Lake City,UT

This might be a dumb question, but I'm pretty sure that I ovulated over the weekend (maybe Fri/Sat?). For the past 3 days, I have been completely exhausted (sleeping 9-10 hours a night, plus falling asleep during the day), and the past 2 mornings when I woke up from sleeping on my stomach, I noticed my boobs felt sore and sort of tingly.

Isn't it WAY too early to be getting any pregnancy symptoms? Have any of you ever had symptoms that early? It would be great if I am pregnant, we've been trying for awhile now. Thank you!!

What can I do next?

I had all those symptoms in May and I was pregnant. I took home tests that were just a super-faint line and so I called the doc. Their test and blood test came back negative. I still hadn't started my period a few days later, and the line was no longer faint. So, technically, I found out that I was pregnant about 6 days post ovulation.

The hormone progesterone is responsible for the signs you are currently feeling. Progesterone is elevated right after you ovulate and will remain elevated until the day before your cycle starts. Since you are trying to conceive, it is more likely you are more apt to notice the affects more than you would at other times.

The other thing to note is if you just ovulated, it takes 5-8 days for the egg to travel down the tube and implant into your uterus. Only after implantation does the body start to produce the pregnancy hormone HCG. So, even if you have actually achieved pregnancy, the ovum probably has not implanted yet.

Yes, at this point it's just PMS, the egg doesn't implant for at least 10 days so your body wouldn't know you had conceived.

I don't think it's possible to have symptoms that early. One thing you need to watch out for is phantom pregnancy (ever watch Glee? It's a real thing). If you're trying and you want to get preggers really bad you can have phantom pregnancy symptoms.

I wish you luck and keep trying!

Hi--
My mother claims that she knew the next day after getting pregnant with me.

At 4 days post ovulation my 3 year old said, "Mommy, you have a baby in your tummy"--he was right.

My earliest real clear pregnancy symptoms started about a week after conception--I got morning sickness 8 days in.

So is it possible--sure, why not? You know your body better than anyone. I had a feeling even before I had real symptoms. But it could also be PMS--unless you don't usually experience PMS. Again, you know your body best. And you'll know for sure in a week!
Good luck!!
J.

I knew two days later. I know it's sounds funny but I get this barky seal hiccup. I called my girlfriend and said there is no way right and she said she knew after each one of her three. The waiting for the prego test to pick it up is the worst because you have to wait until after you were due. Good luck and trust your instincts and if not enjoy trying for next month :)

I've never been pregnant, had those symptoms some months while still ovulating and having a period and still have those symptoms sometimes several years post menopause. Sorry! I know you're hoping.

I've known women who wanted to get pregnant so bad and didn't get pregnant until they gave up trying so hard. Just a bit of info that might be helpful or not.

I get symptoms super early, about 4 to 5 days after conception so you might be experiencing symptoms. Wait about 5 days and take a test, it just may register.

Good luck!
