Hi P.O.,
I recommend a high grade tea tree oil, specifically melaleuca oil. I use one that is non-caustic. Most in the stores are caustic so you have to be careful. I put one drop of melaleuca oil in a teaspoon of olive oil and drop one drop of that, warmed, into the ear canal. Melaleuca oil is penetrating and also an antibacterial and antifungal as well as an antiseptic so it heals. There are absolutely no side effects just make sure she doesn't get any of it in her eyes. I know little ones tug on their ears when they hurt..... and little fingers go everywhere.
We were able to dodge ear tubes with this as well as with chiropractic care. Chiropractic care strengthens the immune system so the body fights off the infection. If you don't have one you can go to upspine.com and look one up in your area. If a friend recommends one to you, interview them and make sure they understand the immune system. If they don't, you're at the wrong place.
God bless,
M.
