I am looking for a good double stroller. I am due in July and my son will be 2 1/2 when the baby comes. What has and hasn't worked for any of you? Any experience with the Baby Trend Double Sit N Stand (two seater that can convert to sit n stand)?

thanks!
L. :)

Sit and stands are the best! Joovy or Baby trend are both great.

We LOVE or Joovy Sit n Stand! My two boys are 14 months apart and I had a tandem when I had the baby, but that was manily since big brother was still a baby too. But when the boys were 1 and 2 I got a sit n stand! I still use it for traveling where we will do ALOT of walkin, the boys take turns in who sits where and they can easliy get in and out when they need to. They fold up about a small as a regular single stroller, they are pretty light, and they are easy to get on and off the bus, a parking lot trolly, the monorail at Disneyland, and many other things; also they dont take up alot of space in the trunk. We did not get the one that has the tray at the handles, but added some cup holders to the side; my oldest kept hittin the back of his head on the tray while standing on the stroller ~ we tested them out inside the store before we bought ours. Congrats on the new addition, what a blessing!!

I looked at the sit n stand but wanted to exercise with my stroller, so I got a BumbleRide Twin, which compares to a BOB. It takes a lot of space in my trunk, but I LOVE it. I use it all the time with my 1 1/2yr and newborn. Kids are side-by-side, comes with the bar to attach infant car seat, independent recline and canopies, and lots of space for toys, snacks, or your bags. It rolls SO easy and turns on a dime. the front wheels can rotate or lock for jogging, or in my case rollerblading.

I second the joovy suggestion. We have a newborn and a 3yo. We love our stroller. We got the joovy ultralite, and I am so thankful. It is lightweight, folds up easily, has a infant seat attachment. Our three year old loves the freedom of the back, but I like the seat belt capabilities because if I need to make her stay put for a bit, the buckles are very handy. Our infant carrier fits in easily. I can just throw the whole stroller in the back of our car because it probably only weighs 14lbs. Simply put the joovy caboose is the way to go.
