Hi,
I had the same age difference but with a twist my eldest is really tall and heavy for his age so I needed a stroller that could deal with that too. Also we travel a lot on extended, monthly trips so I needed one that would be useful for everything. I found the Phil and Teds Sport a New Zealand stroller..and it is awesome. There is always some compromise but you can jog/run in it( the front wheel locks out although they r the smaller wheels,) it is good at maneuvering, with it being one behind the other there r no fighting issues and it is way easier to shop in stores, as long as your first in less than 30lbs you can have the baby lie flat and the bigger one sits in fron on top as such anyway u can c it on the website www.philandteds.com/ to kind of understand it. There is a store in Hurst and dallas to test drive that has them but i bought mine online and saved heaps. Its not cheap but online i got it for $400. I think its the best kiddoes equipment i bought.
The only warning I will say is that never have the stroller near the exhaust of your car when the car is on. If the baby is riding in the kiddy seat when it gets bigger it is right at the height of the exhaust.
Good Luck
