I am interested in purchasing a double stroller. There are so many out there I am having a hard time finding the right one for me. I am looking for a stroller that rides well ( goes over bumps, can steer easily) and also one that is comfortable. We need a stroller that is affordable, so unfortunately no BOB strollers or Phil and Ted. =( Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i have a graco duo glider, its very durable and easy to clean
goes easily over grass, and dirt,
simple to fold up doesn't take up much space,

I have the tandem style which makes it easier to shop enter doors ect..

I tried the double jogging stroller, which is OK but bulky, and large. but if you need it mainly for out doors they are pretty good.

I also have the Graco Duo Glider. I love it. My girls are 28 months and 8 months old. You can use a couple of Graco car seats with it.

i have the combi sport SBS and we absolutely love it (myself and my girls). It folds up really small and fits through ALL doorways. Handles great and is comfy for them..

There have been several posts her about double strollers that have a lot of good input. I have a Kolcraft Contour Options Tandem, which is affordable (around $200), and has a number of seating options. I wouldn't buy it again, because I would have bought a side-by-side straight off, but it's much better than the Graco, in my opinion. Decent side-b-sides are a little priceier, but the Combi ones ar egood and less expensive than the rest.

I have a few diatribes I've written on the topic, so feel free to contact me for more info!!!

Best,

I have the Graco Quattro Duo and I LOVE it!! With your daughter's age, it will last you for some time as my middle son is 5 and can still sit in it.

As the mom of twins I can tell you we've had about three different double strollers...the Graco is good, but can be a bit tricky on the turns. The best umbrella double stroller I've used is a cheapie (about $80-$90), but a goodie--the JEEP double umbrella stroller. Folds up nice and small, gets through just about every doorway and can be handled well. The best stroller we own is the Schwinn FreeWheeler. It's a great alternative to the fancy, expensive joggers. It rides beautifully, plenty of room for the kids, lots of storage and about $170-$200...Great for the money--though it is BIG. Good luck!

I have the Graco Duo Glider, and I think I paid $159 for it at Sears. From what the instructions say you have to have one of two Graco infant carrier carseats with this stroller. They apparently don't all work with it. I got this one after my youngest was out the infant seat, so I don't know for sure. Before that I had this really cheap one from Kolcraft that cost about $100, and would fit any infant seat. Don't bother to get that one. With your 3 yr old in the front you won't be able to push it. Now that the oldest of my little ones is about to be 3 I find that I rarely use the double stroller anymore. I guess it depends on the child though. The Duo Glider is reliable though, and even goes through light snow pretty well. Honestly though, unless your 3 yr old is on the small side, or she doesn't listen to you, then you might not want to even get a double stroller because she probably won't sit in it for too long due to the whole independent thing they do at this age. You could consider a sit n stand, but those tend to be kinda high priced. Good luck!
