Double Jogging Stroller Recommendations

If you're actually going to be running with this jogger, you'll want one with a fixed wheel. If you'll be doing more walking than jogging, you'll want a swivel wheel. Don't be overwhelmed by the ridiculous BOB price. There's NO WAY I could afford a $500 stroller, 20% off or not. There are other options. I've been doing a LOT of research into the double jogger lately, as I'm an avid runner and due with my second in Sept. What I've found from reading numerous reviews on www.target.com, www.amazon.com, and other websites is that the InSTEP line of double joggers is decent and affordable. They are typically half the price of the BOB strollers, and many avid runners have been very happy with them. I've even found some on eBay that are sold brand new and shipped free - and these prices have been the best I've found. There are also some available at Sears, which is able to ship to the store. Of all the affordable brands, InSTEP seems to get the best reviews. If you're able to do the expensive, however, BOB is definitely the best around!!

I have an instep safari with a swiveling front wheel. I think thats what its called (I looked on amazon where i bought it from and it looks like the one listed there). i bought it last year for about $150 including shipping (it came in about 2 days!). I love it. I needed a jogging stroller because our driveway is gravel and steep, as our the roads around us. Its a great stroller, though. I started using it occasionally when my sons were 3 months and 3 years. I didn't go jogging with it until my baby was a bit older though.

we got the b.o.b. revolution and love it soooooo much. it was a bit of an investment but seriously worth every penny! i have a few girlfriends who also use the same one who all love it as well. i have the single but they also have the double. i bought it from REI and used our member coupon to save the 20% so that helped a bit. strongly recommend. the wheels are so great that it really makes the stroller feel so light! good luck!
