I want to get a double jogging stroller, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good one? I really like the BOB strollers, but I'm not sure I want to spend that much money. Can anyone tell me about one that they really like?

So What Happened?

Thank you very much for the advice! We went with the BOB Duallie. I felt guilty spending that much, but I know I'll use it every day, so hopefully it's worth it. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Hi B.,

I also have a two year old and an infant. The stroller that I have and love is the Phil & Teds Sport. It's awesome because it converts from a double to a single stroller and back again very easily. That way, if your older child is in school or something and you only have the baby, you can use it as a single. Even as a double, it is only as wide as a single because of the way the seats are set up. Plus, it's a jogger with a wheel in front that can be swivel or fixed - very versitile. LOVE IT! Good luck :)

I did a ton of research and comparing before purchasing a double stroller recently. I wanted an all-terrain stroller that I could use not only for exercise and outdoors but for everyday use as well. I finally purchased the BOB Duallie. I couldn't believe I paid that much for a stroller, but guess what...it was totally worth it! I has a double folding mechanism that allows it to fold MUCH flatter than the traditional double joggers and will fit into a car trunk. I didn't think that would matter to me since I have a Suburban, but it will also fit in my husband's Avalon. It also has a suspension system for a smoother ride and easier maneuvering. I can put a 40lb 3 year old and a 20lb 7 month old along with a diaper bag and still push it with 1 finger! The front wheel swivels or locks. I have taken it to the mall and had minimal issues with width and fitting down aisles. It is one of the narrower side by sides made and one of the lighter ones as well. I would highly recommend it even though it is pricey. I didn't see one negative customer review of it. I did get it on sale on Black Friday at happymother.com, so try them and see if they have any specials. Good luck.

B., I purchased a Schwinn Safari about three years ago and I just love it. It has the large wheels in back which makes it real easy for offroading (parks and carnivals). It also has the front wheel that you can lock in place or set to swivel. This is great for zig zagging around which is nice incase they get fussy you can make it a fun ride for the older kids. Mine is also very light weight, I can put my two kids (6and3)in and still use one hand to push. I purchased mine on ebay. I would say find a model you like and shop around. Good luck

I can tell you what not to buy better than anything because I bought one and the front wheel does not swivel. It's a huge pain in the butt. I would just make sure it folds easily, and has a swiveling front wheel. Happy Jogging!
