yeah- both my children do that. But my son actually sleep walks. he sleep walks to the bathroom and uses the toilet the back to bed. there is one time he came out of the bed room, went to his play room and stood there infront of the bed and got ready to go pee...I stopped when I realized what was going on.
He sits up in bed, talks and so on and never remember when he wakes up! Rather amusing!

My daughter (6) barely moves a muscle. I'll often find her in the morning exactly how she fell asleep the night before. My son (3), however, is like a boxer when he sleeps. He's backwards, forwards, hanging off, hanging on, upside down. And sleeping next to him is impossible. But he gets a good nights sleep.

mines not even 3 weeks yet and ive noticed how much she moves in her sleep.. u put her down on one end of the cradle and when she wakes up to eat shes managed to squirm her way down to the other end .. but then again her father flails around alot in his sleep too so that doesnt surprise me, he even talks in his sleep.. according to his mom he would even sleep walk on occasions when he was younger.. who knows maybe its an inherited trait

Both my boys (13, 16) move a lot and talk in their sleep. One even sleep walked a week ago. They have always been this way. It's difficult for them to share a bed when we travel because they move so much.

My son moves around a lot.

My SD pretty much wakes up as she went to sleep. It's so funny & cute.

Oh gosh yes. My 6-year-old is the wiggliest, noisiest sleeper on the planet. I can't tell you all the weird positions I've found him in when I've gone in to wake him up. I'm the same way, so maybe he gets it from me.

No. My son just crashes, but I was. My mom had the worst time telling when I was sleeping. I slept with my eyes open, I climbed the walls, I sang, I even sleep walked. I did all this in my sleep and still got a good night's rest to the point I couldn't sleep in the day. My hubby still thrashes about the bed, so sometimes I sleep on the couch.

Oh yes, my son has always done that.. He is now ten and still moves quite a bit, although not as much as he once did.. However, during a growing spell... it's all kick kick kick.. Could be that is what your daughter is experiencing. If her legs are not in any pain, I would attribute the movement to her growing.. Although, legs can ache during that as well..

As for sleep talking, I did that a ton as a kid and now as an adult, I still do it. especially if I am feeling really stressed out.. :)

Oh goodness yes. My son will end up with his feet on his pillow sometimes. If he ever ends up in my bed, he will always end up with an arm on my face, feet on my back, head on my legs, something! Plus he talks in his sleep all the time. He is 5 and doesn't nap that much anymore, but when he was younger I would sit in his room while he napped just to hear him have a conversation while asleep!

My 4 yr old moves, kicks, talks, hits and sometimes calls out. Sometimes she is in our bed and my husband wakes up with bruises.

Mine does. She's going to be 2 yrs old in 2 months, and moves a lot in her sleep. 180 deg on some days, I'd say!
I'm dreading the time when I'd have to convert the crib to a toddler bed!
