You have offered up A LOT of personal info here....so why are you here? To judge people???

I like facebook. I have been able to keep in touch with friends and family. Have great debates with people, learn new things and so much more!

Don't like it? Don't log in. It's really simple. It's called SELF CONTROL.

GOOD LUCK!!

OMG... this is hilarious. Facebook exists so that people can essentially talk about themselves. If you don't want to see personal info, get off of FB!!

I am really curious....is there anything that you DO like? What a negative Nelly. You must be a dream to live with. Ugh.

If you do not like facebook it's your choice to stay off of it. Lot's of people connect with others who cannot otherwise connect. Some reveal to much, some don't. I have a few with cancer on mine and it's the only way they can chat and see whats going on.

I'm kind of getting burned out on it but I still like it. I use it mainly to stay in touch with family members that live far away; they post pictures and tag me then after I look at them I remove the tag. I only have a few "friends" and am very restrictive on who can see my information.

I have never "friended" anyone I work with; they don't need to know any of my personal business!! And I definitely have never "friended" anyone I don't know!!!

But I do think people put too much personal info on there. Especially now that they're saying more employers are looking on there! Not that it's any of their business what I do in my personal life but I certainly wouldn't post some of the stuff people put on there!! It's crazy!

Good question!!

I like facebook. It has provided a way for me to get back in touch with friends I went to high school with, that I lost touch with. I also have communication with cousins that live in other states and that I don't see often.

It's too bad that you haven't been able to figure out the positive way to use social networking. You would find it is a great benefit... when used correctly.

It's not called social media because you aren't supposed to post stuff. That's what social media means.

I think that there are a lot of people who just don't need to even look at it. For goodness sake....if you don't want to see what their posting fix your friend settings to limit what you see. You can even fix it where their posts don't show up at all on your news feed.

I enjoy hearing about my friends daily lives that I don't get to see anymore due to them living all over the world. I like hearing about their family, their crappy neighbors, all the stuff they are dealing with. It sometimes makes the stuff I am dealing with seem trivial.

I'm with you. I prefer to keep my business private; therefore I choose not to have an account.
