No, you're NOT the only person to not use FB. Most of my family doesn't, and i resisted for a long time.
But, I'm glad I got on. I do play some games, have made awesome friends with people who share ideas and hobbies with me that I never would have met otherwise, I've reconnected with old friends, former classmates, long-distance relatives across the US and in Germany. and a young man I babysat when he was between 2 and 7, who is now in the Air Force.
I also discovered several pages that are legit and share deals, coupons and freebies with my FB friends. I love to cook, bake, craft, & save money on everything, so I've been sharing stuff with my FB friends and started a separate page to do it on. Because they love the things I share and benefit from them I love doing it. They let me know when they buy something I posted a good deal on, (Christmas I was hunting down the lowest prices on Wii's, recently it's been summer stuff) take advantage of a freebie, (like the free dry shampoo, gum, and sweet potato fries I got today today with freebie coupons I heard about on FB,) receive free items in the mail, (some samples and some full-size) or try a craft or recipe I posted.
Sure, I could find out about some of these coupons/deals/freebies on my own and then share them, but FB simplifies the way I hear about them so I don't have to go hunting hit and miss for them, and it gives me a way to share them.
Some people do spend a lot of time on FB, I can't, I have a toddler, so I sometimes have to get off NOW! ; ) Some days I'm on more, some days I sign in, check a couple of things and am done for the day. In any event, I never thought I'd like FB...
