It's more pricey than I thought, and then there is shipping... Does anyone know of a good website to buy GF flour in bulk that is reasonably priced? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Have you checked to see if GF flour is available in bulk at Central Market, Whole Foods or Spouts?? Then you wouldn't have to pay shipping. And you would be able to try a small quantity to make sure you liked it before you purchased a larger quantity.

I see others have suggested Costco - they have giant bags of GF flour there. I just saw them the other day.

Around here, you can find gluten free flour in the supermarkets. Look on the baking aisle or health food section. I like brown rice flour and substitute it 1:1 for wheat flour. Then I add a heaping spoonful or two of potato or tapioca flour to thicken and help hold things together. Xanthan gum also keeps gluten free baked good from crumbling.

Whole Foods, a natural food store, the grocery store, Trader Joes and even Walmart now carries some of these items in its grocery section.

In any store that sells your favorite GF flour, you should be able to talk to the manager and have them buy bulk for you. They bring it in on their next truck and you don't have to pay shipping. Usually the GM will give you a pretty good deal too, especially if you're already a loyal customer :0)

I haven't looked for GF, but I get my bread flour in bulk at Sam's. Have you checked there or Costco?
