Do You Use a Steam Cleaner?

I hate my shower. It always feels dingy and dirty no matter how much I scrub. I've been wondering if getting a steam cleaner for all that tile and grout would work better than chemicals and scrubbing...

Do you have a steam cleaner? Do you use it in your bathroom? Does it work well?

Please share opinions on steam cleaning!

In not sure about steam cleaning, but I love my shower trick!

I use one of those dish scrubbers that has a sponge attached to a tube. I fill the tube with 1/2 dish soap (I like the way lemon scented makes my bathroom smell...) and 1/2 white vinegar. Every time I take a shower, I use it to wipe down one wall. It only takes a minute, and my shower stays sparkly clean. :)

I have a steam cleaner. It does not do anything amazing to the shower or anywhere else. It is a fun toy, but after the novelty wears off it will sit and collect dust because it is way more effort to take it out and use it than it is to use a rag and some cleaner.

I have a steam cleaner and find that a good bathroom cleaner does just as good or better. One that acts like a limeaway product.

I don't have one.
I thought about getting one but then I found out the steam can damage floors and steam and grout don't really go well together either.
In our house, something that removes soap scum and lime build up really works well to get the showers clean.
Vinegar or Lime Away for the lime (it's not great for grout either but I use it sparingly), and Scrubbing Bubbles removes the soap scum.
Also get your kids (and yourself) in the habit of using their towels to dry off tile/shower walls after they've dried themselves off (then hang towels to dry) or use a squeegee.
Drying the walls keeps the mold from growing and keeps the lime from building up.
It goes a real long way to keeping the shower clean in the first place and
towels are a lot easier to clean.
