Disney in the Rain

Dollar store - they are super thin to pack before you open them.

I googled - about $8.00 (in 2011) at the park. They will last longer than the cheap $ store ponchos, but if you don't wear them much anyway, the Disney ones would just sit in the closet.

Of course they do, don't buy them there, though, too expensive. Hit a Dollar store.

We went last year and once it starts sprinkling, every shop sells them. They're expensive and heavy. I think we paid $8 each 2 years ago. They're good quality but I doubt we'll use them again. My friend bought cheapie ones at Dollar Tree and threw them away after. Wish I'd listened to her before we left.

I haven't been to the area for over 17 yrs but I would think there would be a dollar store nearby. I would stop in and see if they have any ponchos. I keep a two pack in the trunk of my car as a just in case.

The do sell rain ponchos in both parks. They are a little pricey (just under $20)so if you are able to buy them before you go I recommend it.
When it rains they are in most every store, and they are always near the water rides like Grand River Rapids and Splash Mountain.
A ziploc works well to keep things like phones and wallets dry while you are there.

One of my best Disney memories is when my family (parents and siblings...I was still in high school) went for Christmas in 2000. We all got Poncho's in Epcot because it poured. We talk about it every time we talk about Disney. And we still have the Mickey Poncho's!

I'm sure they have to ponchos, probably near the entrance of California Adventure. I love Disney in the rain!!

they do sell ponchos but if you go to a dollar store you can get a poncho for a $1 instead of the $10 or $15 at disney
