Before thinking of doing Botox -try BeautiControl. My mom is a testimony herself however if you go to their site they have many testimony's. I do sell BeautiControl but I do more of an Avon approach-I don't care about signing people up and when its time for me to place my required order every 4 months I think it is I just ask family and friends if they need anything. I really believe in the product though and is the only reason I mentioned it....it would be alot cheaper than Botox and less invasive-what would you have to lose besides your wrinkles right?

Well...I don't think anyone NEEDS botox.

Anyway. I agree with the other comment. Whoever you see, check their credentials thoroughly. There are med-spas that may be cheaper, but they aren't always licensed to administer botox. There are stories about places like that being caught all the time, on my local news. The woman are always injected wrong and it causes all kinds of damage. As far as the parties, check the credentials on that doc, too. Botox is a big money maker, so there are lots of unqualified people doing injections, at lower costs.

I would never set foot in a party...

Think about this.....it is YOUR FACE. You get what you pay for and if you go cheap you will pay for a LONG time. Go to a very highly recommended Dr and get it done right the first time and be able to rest assured you won't come out looking weird.

Good luck

I would be very careful about "Botox Parties." Some unlicensed and unreputable people do those. You should google "botox injections" in your area and see what comes up. There's a place called Shape Med here in Atlanta that does Botox injections, and they're a lot more inexpensive than I imagined (and administered by a real, licensed doctor). They also do injections of something called JuveDerm that's a LOT more expensive, but I think it works better and lasts longer from the pictures. You may want to look at real doctors who do it, but who aren't plastic surgeons per se. I think that's less expensive. Just check their license and see if they have any referrals from other patients.

Like anything else, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't consider going to anyone other than a qualified doctor (with recommendations) for any kind of work on my face. Just like discount pet meds, you sometimes don't know what you're getting. But it's your face, not your pet. Be careful.
