We decided to suddenly go to Disney World. Does anyone have any advice of where we can get discounted tickets to visit the Magic Kingdom and/or Epcot for just a day or two?

What can I do next?

Discount tickets are HARD to come by.

HOWEVER, we got ours from a guy on ebay who sold a bunch of new tickets. We saved (6 adults, 1 child) $800 or $900- can't remember the exact number- in Jan. 2010 for 3 day park hoppers for everyone from the actual Disney website!.! So you could try that.....

The timeshare sales are VERY HIGH PRESSURE! My parents sat through one when we were down there for discount Sea World. They told the guy up front that they were not buying and he STILL got very mean, pushy, and rude when it was time for them to buy and they said no. It is VERY HIGH PRESSURE!!!! NOT A GOOD WAY TO GET TICKETS! And you can NOT bring kids with you to the "presentation." PLUS, it's a few hours long (LONGER THAN HOW LONG THEY ORIGINALLY TELL YOU!) and they make you feel really guilty if you don't buy.

If you are military, you need to take advantage of Disney's awesome offer right now. Active duty get in free on a 3 day park hopper ticket (yes, totally free), and accompanying dependents (that means spouse, kids) get the same ticket for $99.

You can sign up to sit through a timeshare sales seminar. They are about an hour or two long and you get free Disney tickets,(and breakfast) and often you stay in a really nice place for free or extremely discounted. Just keep in mind, you're doing this for the tickets and you're not buying!! :)

Hi C.,
Ask the people who have bought discounted tix from the kiosks by the roadsides near the attractions. Be careful with the ones from gas station kind of stores.
Some people swap tix with other families. Like if you buy tix for 3 attractions and you get to go to just 2, the other goes to waste if you don't use it, right? You can swap or sell/buy that one.
Good luck,
L..
