So i have the shot for birth control. can i use diet pills with it? I became pregnant with my second son on birth control because i was using diet pills too. Can anyone give me any advice? Has anyone experienced this?

OMG--PLEASE stop the shot! I friend of mine had to have a heart transplant because of Depo! She had massive clot issues that caused several strokes and caused irreversable heart damage...and this was proven too, not just speculation. Mixing diet pills with the shot is just a ticking timebomb :(
Talk to your doctor and pharmacist about drug interactions. I know antibiotics can reduce the effectiveness of bc, other drugs might have the same effect.
I would talk to your doctor before using any diet pills, not just to find out how they will react with depo, but too see if they are safe for you to use at all. I used to take hydroxycut, and it caused heart palpitations, I could have easily have had a heart attack, and I was using them per the instructions, not over taking or anything. Just be very careful.
