does anyone have a defensive driving class that wasn't horrible that gave out the certificates when the class was finished? If not-- could you tell me at least a good one-- and I'll try and get an extension. Thanks!!
Thank you---for all your information-- I did call and found out you don't have to pay to overnight your certificate-- as long as it is completed by the date-- then you send it in when you recieve-- this is for Williamson County Sheriff.

Comedy Defensive Driving School online is what I just did.

It's cheap, fairly quick and for an additional fee they send you your certificate overnight. It's not that funny but relatively painless overall. Just know that you are required to take 10 minute breaks between sessions but the overall time commitment is about 6 hours. Good luck!

if you go to blockbuster they have a dvd you can buy it is super easy and you can use it over and over for the next time you get a ticket

YOu can pick any class.... IF the ticket is in Austin, you can take the class by the 26th and you have 30 days to submit proof you have taken it. You have to be done with the class by the 26th. THere is not a place that you will get your certificate that day. IF you received your ticket somewhere else, you need to call and see if that date is for completing your class or turning in all info.
APD definitely gives you the 30 days to submit.....

My hubby took a comedy one online and they were able to overnight him his certificate. It was "Comedy Defensive Driving School" and it took roughly six hours but you could stop the program and come back. He finished it in three short sessions.
I did the online class because I couldn't spend the day without baby... technically, you can do it anytime (stay up all night if necessary...?!). They can express mail the court required certificate. Or, the office is in Round Rock... Maybe you can go up and get it... (Just don't speed!)
