Well my son has been with the same home daycare since he was 9 months now almost 5. She has charged 35 a day... He did try preschool for a short time and they were 205 a week (Full time and included meals).

If you are going with a KinderCare or something like that I know they charge a little extra for diapers & feedings as they can only have a 3 to 1 ratio.

Good luck finding a place..this is the hardest part of being a working parent..having to trust your baby with a stranger...

My son is now 4 years old, but I have had him in daycare since he was 5 months old. As an infant I was paying $150.00 a week and once he was Potty Trained $125.00 a week. Now that he is 4 I have him in a Pre-School, I pay $100.00 a week. This is for full time daycare. I have to say when I was looking into full day Pre-school they ranged anywhere from $100.00- $165.00 a week. Depends on which one you choose. Good luck. I picked my son's based on the surprise visit they recommended and how comfortable my son felt in the environment of that school. He literally hugged the teacher before he left he liked it so much. To this day a year later everytime I pick him up, I get such a good reaction from him and he has learned sooo much! Good luck I hope you find a daycare that suits your child and your needs.

You're going to pay b/w ###-###-#### a month for an infant for full time day care; which will be the same until age 2 at a child care facility. (licensing calls any child under 2 an infant and they are usually in the same room together because there are extra regulations and low staffing).
I've done a ton of looking around and have just ended up staying home because of the cost (plus I have another)

I have been a "child care" provider for over 20 years and represent the Orange County Child Care Association. It really depends on where you live as well as what the provider has to offer you in the way of services, credentials and programs she may participate in. You can give me a call at ###-###-#### and I am happy to answer any questions as well as give you the name of your area representative assuming you live anywhere in Orange County, Ca.
