What really, really works to combat these new peri-menopause dark circles?
I have tried 3 products already. Creams, yellow cream, etc... Not 1 of them works.
I do not have allergies. TY in advance

I'm going to follow this closely since I have the exact same issue. I didn't realize the dark circles would get worse with perimenopause, but they are slowly getting worse and worse.

I was thinking I just had dark circles but a person at Sephora pointed out that I also had puffiness which makes the circles even worse.
So I recently saw on one of the morning shows - can't remember which -that celebrities use Preparation H for puffiness. Strange huh? I haven't tried it yet, but I may get desperate enough to do it. :)
I also have heard that the Garnier undereye 'tool' that has the metal ball roller works good because you are actually soothing/smoothing over the puffiness w/the roller.
I like the Lancome waterproof undereye concealer. But that alone still doesn't completely cover my circles.

I'm interested to hear what others use.
Thanks for posting. It'll help a lot of us.

It's from blood pooling in the space under your eyes. Even if you aren't aware of allergies, there is no doubt some swelling in your nasal passages, and the blood just doesn't flow as easily. Most of us have that from environmental contaminants or inflammation caused by other things (stress is a big one). The blood has no place to go so it finds a nice empty space. That's why a lot of people with a head injury or concussion get a black eye - the problem is a little further away but the eye socket is the nearest available space. I got rid of my circles through nutritional supplementation. That has many other benefits as well so I really got my money's worth. But your solution is definitely an internal one, not an external one - the cream is working on the surface of the skin, and that's not the source of the discoloration.

Sometimes it's genetic - nothing you can do about that.
I come from a long line of people who look like raccoons as we age.
Sometimes it's quality of sleep (or lack there of).
Sleep difficulties are common with peri-menopause.
What ever the issues (temperature, hot flashes, insomnia, etc) - try to address the issues and get some extra rest as best you can.
I find I'm becoming more caffeine sensitive.
I can not have it after noon or I am up all night.
Try cooling things on your eyes -cucumbers, cold used tea bags, etc.
A fenugreek paste under the eyes will help - it takes a few weeks but it does work.

I can only tell you these do a pretty good job for a low price. Loreal BB magic first, then Garnier Skin Renew anti dark circle renew. The BB cream is like a primer that helps make up stay on.
They say CC cream is coming soon. It has the color and the BB cream in one.

L'Oreal BB cream 4-in-1 and the L'Oreal Luminator. The Luminator can be used to highlight bone structure and reflect light off of shadow areas like dark circles.

Have you tried hylexin? It's expensive, but you don't need a lot. A sample size from sephora lasted me for over six months and it really works!
