Burnt my cheek with curling iron & I can't get to the store right now. Do you think it would be alright to use olive oil on the burn till I can get something better? Any other ideas for this goof!!! Thank you:)

What can I do next?

Do NOT put oil on a burn.
Use aloe if you have it.

Don't use any kind of oil. If you have aloe, you can put aloe juice on it. OR, I have read that once you cool the skin with cool water, you can apply egg whites to the skin and the collagen from the egg whites is a super healer for burned skinned.

Haven't tried it myself... but it would be worth it for your face, if it works half as good as I have been led to believe.

ETA: Just checked it--skip the egg whites. Debunked by a dr. online. Just go with aloe vera juice. Break off a piece from the plant and open the peel, then apply the serum/juice directly to the burned skin.

Olive oil is one of the most healing things you can use. It's better than what you buy in the store.

I dropped my curling iron on my hand this morning, and though it hurt when I did it, I only have a little red mark. I'm luckier than you, it appears, but I wouldn't hesitate to use olive oil on it if I needed to.

Cold water if you can, even a soaking soft cloth. My husband's niece once told me that her science teacher told her that Ice can actually cause a blister. I tried this once when I burnt my finger on a pan. I only used cold water, no ice. No blister. Also, do not apply Neosporin or anything like that. Once the pain part wears off, apply a bandage to protect it. Though might be difficult on your cheek. If your burn is like one I had 2 summers ago (burnt under my arm wrapping up the cord of my curling iron), it wil ljust look worse than it actually is.

I seem to remember a family member saying white vinegar...? Never tried it, so I don't know. I'm sure that if it blistered or is open, you will want to skip that, I'm sure because it would probably burn to no end!

Ice and Ibuprofen. And call your doctor's office. Once its healed, be diligent about sunscreen over the new skin. Its brand new baby skin and it will tan differently than the rest of your face.

No oil. I'd stick with water to be safe. Treat it like any other burn. Here are some steps:

Keep in mind that facial skin is very delicate. I burned myself with a curling iron on my face 20 years ago and still have a scar from it. This was long before the anti-scar products were OTC. Once this heals, I'd start up right away on the anti-scar products.
