Actually, you may need to have your hormone levels checked. Some BC pills contain a synthetic progesterone. Heightened progesterone levels can cause pregnancy symptoms. So check with your doctor and maybe change to a different pill.

This is weird, but here goes....
For the past 6-9 months, I have had the most horrible gag reflex! The silliest things make me gag. My main offenders are mosquitos (??), the cat box and hair, but it could be ANYTHING. I gag when I smoke sometimes, if my husband passes gas (non stinky), and even thinking about bugs. It sounds so stupid but it's really bugging me! I can change a poopy diaper, clean other people's toilets (I'm a house cleaner), and really gross stuff doesn't bother me, just the other things I've listed. I probably gag about 20 times a day. Never vomit though. Do you know what could suddenly make someone so gaggy out of nowhere? I'm on birth control (for 3 months), I"m not pregnant, I am 27 years old, thin and in good health.

I gag when I'm cold and it is exaggerated when I'm under stress or hormonal. Definitely could be tied to hormones.
Have you had your thyroid checked? Might want to start with that, a simple blood test would diagnose it and meds take care of it. It sounds like it could be hormonal, but, what sort of cleaning products are you using when you clean? Cleaning products are typically very toxic unless you are using natural ingredients like vinegar.
I experience that too. Did you have horrible morning sickness during your pregnancy? Mine was awful, and I figure it just kind of re-set my body in that way.
Let us know where your situation goes, and good luck with curing it.
Are you taking any supplements/ Vitamins? Some of those can make me gaggy...I wonder why your "gaggies" are specific? Why the sudden gaggy-ness? Hmmmmm?
I will be interested in the answer...

I would check you birth control or if you have recently taken any new medication. Alot of medications side affects include gagging. Its a small percentage usually but a very real symptom, I got it myself from a medication. Hope this helps.
