So i am having what I can only describe as menstural cramps. I usually do not get cramps too bad but this is what exactly it feels like. Thing is my period ended about 10 days ago. So what gives? I have never had "off-cycle" cramps if that makes sense. Has anyone else experienced this? Normal? Thanks.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

so i am pretty sure that they were for ovulation as my period started yesterday. Never had experienced it ever. Was concerned about possibly implantation cramping because that is the last thing I need now but now I am relieved. (and no one said that was what it might be either. phew) Thanks everyone!

It could be ovulation/pre-ovulation. I swear my ovulation pain is far worse than my menstrual pain. It feels like my ovaries are twisting, exploding, and participating in a mob war.

I usually have cramps when I'm ovulating - so about mid-cycle.
They're FAR more severe than anything I get just before my period.

Are you getting ready to ovulate? Sometimes women get cramps during this time. After my son was born (a couple years after) I started getting horrible cramps twice a month-- the week of ovulation and the week before/during my cycle. If it keeps up, talk to your gyn about it. (I went on the pill to fix this, but it was a truly bad 'qualify of life' issue for me.)

These might be ovulation cramps/pre-ovulation cramps. I also started having them only a few months ago. Before that I have never had them in my life. I guess over time our body changes and so do pains and twitches. :)
