I have a cylindrical ink pen caddy that holds a pretty fat pen - and I want to line the inside of that caddy with velvet or other very soft texture - but the space to cut and glue actual fabric is impossibly small and deep. Does anyone know of a product that sprays on velvet or felt? Thanks!

I dont know of any spray or velvet felt, but I used to work at MJDesigns years ago and we carried a sticky back felt, and all you had to do was cut and stick it. If this is something that you could use, check Michaels or Hobby Lobby as they may have it.

Hi A.,
I don't have any help for your crafting request, But, I too am in my 40's and starting over, so to speak. I have a 25, 24, 21, 18, 9, and 2 year old. All are grown and gone except the 2 youngest. It IS different than when we were MUCH younger, but the rewards are just as great.
Seems there aren't a whole lot of us Older moms with little ones.

No spray-on velvet advice, but I too am an "older" mom. I have a 20 year old, and my husband has a 28 year old with her own kids. Together, we have a 6 year old and a 2 year old. We started over, too and are loving it. I'm way more patient than I was in my 20s. Good to know that there are some other moms out there that can appreciate 80s music, leg warmers and feathered hair. Of course realizing that I'm older than all the teachers in my son's school makes conference time a bit awkward...:)

Hobby Lobby has felt sheets that your just pull the backing off. I too am older, I turned 59 this month. Raising my granddaughter who will be 10 next month. I have had her since she was 5. My son is 31 and daugher is 29. Now I opened a Day care at home and loving it. I now have lots of bundles of joy in my life replacing a marriage and jerk husband who I thought was the perfect man but turned out not to be. I need two more babies to be full for the winter term. Look at Hobby Lobby, Joanne's or Michaels for spray on "flocking". I haven't seen it, but I haven't been looking for it either! Other than that, you can get spray on adhesive and then just stick the fabric to it. You can get it at any fabric/craft store.
